Ok here is my question and I may sound like an idiot. I had a th400 and took it out and replaced it with a tko600. Now looking at the wiring I don't have a neutral safety switch any more. Now the question, do I leave the wires separated or connect them together. Any help would be great thanks in advanced.

OK i believe I just have to connect them together. Please if I am screwing this one up stop me. Thanks.

You can connect the two wires together to get the starter to work again.
You might want to think about connecting it to a clutch switch like a modern car.

The TKO should have a neutral safety switch, you'll need to get the connector pigtail, AND that switch can't handle the amps from the solenoid, you'll need to rig up a relay.
Another option would be to fit the car with a clutch safety switch as was orignally used on 69 manual trans cars.

Thanks, yeah I was going to think about hooking up a relay, but for now just want to get the car finished.
