I am going to add an aftermarket ac unit to my 69SS and would appreciate any input or helpful info on what type and brand is the best in your opinion ,any pros and cons. Also ,i have already covered the hole for the heater box in the firewall and need to know can i also cover the fresh air hole just to the side of the heater box hole. I'm in the process of installing the Gen IV Vintage Air system in my 69. Going pretty smooth so far. Since you already covered the heater box hole, the fresh air hole is the other alternative where you need to have your hoses going thru. VA makes a plate with the necessary fittings for that opening.
