Alright guys, I have narrowed it down simply I guess to either the power steering pump pulley is screwy, or the pump its self is going out? I dont lose power steering, the wheel just stops turning and I wrestle with it for the almighty, it seems to slip the more i wrestle like a belt or something? Im not driving the thing tmw im taking the nissan so I have down time with it, anything else u can think of and opinion(s)?

I might speculate it has a bad steering rack.

I bought a new ps pump once and decided to get a shiney new cap at the same time. Well the cheap-ass cap came apart almost immediately and dropped the spring into the pump resevoir. Steering stopped working after that and couldn't get all the pieces out. Fortunately I bought both at NApa and they gave me a new pump (used the old cap after that). That said, make sure nothing is in the resevoir or trapped in the lines. I also sucked all the fluid out of the lines with a shop vac to make sure nothing else was trapped in the system.

Its a stock pump. I crawled under the car and inspected the visual scene, all good. I pulled the pump off and im waiting for some new lines and I drained it and looked inside pretty clean. It only acted up once n awhile, still thats a major plm. Thanks.

I found the problem guys. When I put the headers on I tightened the pump up, but not enough, it slipped down and the belt was pretty loose it was jumping. Odd.
