I torqued mine to 65 w. a 5/8" ubolt. tumper Jan 25th, 08, 03:15 PM They are the 5/8 u-bolts, but I don't know that 65 lb/ft is correct, that seems really low for a 5/8 diameter thread! newer model trucks with close to the same size u-bolt is 115 lb/ft. dbx1969 Jan 25th, 08, 03:25 PM They are the 5/8 u-bolts, but I don't know that 65 lb/ft is correct, that seems really low for a 5/8 diameter thread! newer model trucks with close to the same size u-bolt is 115 lb/ft. I believe it might be upwards of 70-75. I didn't use my new 5/8" bolts, as I didn't have the inclination to drill out the plates and perches to accommodate them. But using the originals, I just..as they say...reefed the hell out of em' :) cgrady Jan 25th, 08, 04:06 PM here you go. http://www.eatonsprings.com/ubolttorques.htm tumper Jan 25th, 08, 04:28 PM ALL RIGHTY THEN!!!
