I am putting the car back together and now need to torque the Hotchkis rear leaf spring u-bolts. Does anybody happen to know what they are torques to? I lost the sheet a long long time ago!!!

They are the 5/8 u-bolts, but I don't know that 65 lb/ft is correct, that seems really low for a 5/8 diameter thread! newer model trucks with close to the same size u-bolt is 115 lb/ft.

I believe it might be upwards of 70-75. I didn't use my new 5/8" bolts, as I didn't have the inclination to drill out the plates and perches to accommodate them. But using the originals, I just..as they say...reefed the hell out of em' :)
