I have been reading enough to get almost completely confused. I am looking for a straightforward list of what it requires to convert my 68 from drums to disks. Can I put C5 on all four corners or do I have to do the 2 right side calipers thing. I bought 2" drop spindles and now it looks like I should just get my drum spindles machined. I would appreciate if you could straighten me out.

Welcome to Team Camaro!
Drop spindles are a bad choice unless you will use skinny tires, there are steering arm clearance issues.

What year Camaro do you have? It matters.

Dave,
Thanks for getting back to me. I have a 68. Thanks for all the info I have gotten from your site and posts.

On a 68 or 69, the caliper needs to be ahead of the axle on the left side, behind on the right side. Those cars have staggered shocks, the 67's don't, so they need both calipers behind the axle.

I plan on using 15" Rallys and I wanted to lower it 2" all the way around. Any opinions on that?

You won't clear C5 brakes with 15" wheels. You'll need 17s. Lower it with springs not spindles.

Thanks Steve. I have more respect for Black cars after doing my 70 Nova. It ended up storm grey with black stripes. After 3 prime and blocks, I had enough sanding. If I go with 17" wheels, won't I have a problem with turning if I lower it?

I run 18"s. No problem turning.
You need to make sure you run correct wheel width, tire size and wheel backspacing.
Use the search feature and read as much as you can. There's a bunch of GREAT info here and on a couple of related sites that searches here will lead you too.
