Anyone familiar with this vehicle? Does it appear original to you? I am curious because my Camaro was built 1 week after this one. Note posi sticker on non hipo setup, not sure how common that was. Love the snow tires

What do you think the value would be?

You could order a Posi with any engine / transmission combination. The Camaro was purchased in Syracuse, New York where the winters are harsh. That would explain the Posi and Snow Tires.

Posi was very popular on low power cars in the snow belt, so was metal studded snow tires. My parents garage floor still has the stud mark scars from 40 years ago.

This car sold once, ~15k. Looked like a nice car for the money. I think the color is holding it back.

You must hate that color :D

That looks like a very nice deal at $15k, to me.

Looks like a very nice car. FWIW,I think that the color is very nice! A 68 RS with POP,owner history, etc.etc. for $15K?... Sounds like a smokin' deal to me.

However, it does need some sheel metal replaced or patched and a paint job.

It isn't one of my favorite colors.
I'm sure if you like it, it looks good on your car though...
Last sold for $15,688.
If it was blue, red, black, or another popular color, I think it would go for more.
The original paint looks to be in good condition, I would hope the buyer keeps it in survivor condition. Not many left in this color.

The tranny tunnel looks naked without a console or shifter of some kind poking through it.

For those of you in the know from the discussion last year. With a 01B build date, it appears to not have the silver accents on the RS grill. Does this match up with what known?
