Hi Guys, working away at my Disc brake conversion on the 68.
Is any one running standard disc brakes with out the Vac booster.
The 68 originally had standard drum brakes, just debating whether I should drop the coin for the power booster? Will the Disc brake master cylinder bolt up in place with out the booster?

Next Question, Junior picked up an adjustable proportioning valve, If I use this in the rear brake line, can I use the brake line junction block from the drum brakes?

PS Thanks David P for all your help with Gulstrand conversion, It went with out any problems.
Just bolting things back together.

I have a '69 with power disc brakes. After an engine swap for a BB with roller rockers and a stud girdle, I had to use the tall valve covers which interfered with the brake booster. I removed the brake booster, "tweaked the brake lines", and bolted the master cylinder directly up to the firewall. I miss my power brakes but enjoy the increase in HP ! Hope this helps.
John.
