Hello Everyone, This is a great Board and I have been learning alot from it I usually search and use the information Wisely you guys Post thank you all.

I do have a question for everyone I am replacing my trunk in my 68 I am replacing pretty much everything including the shock tower panel replacements. My question is what order to I put them back in first does the shock panels first, then the trunk and then the extensions or what order would they go in . I appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you

I personally would start with the shock towers then the trunk pan and then the extensions. But when you do the extensions, make sure the 1/4s fit at the bottom.

Actually, I would drop the gas tank and get it out of the way. test fit to make sure it looks the same, and then cut the bad crap out, and then squat in the opened trunk space and do the shock towers..and when you do the shock towers , dont foget to weld the little steel piece that the top bolts go on to the tower panel itself. (some panels are pre done. mine arent)

The shock towers are actually three pieces of metal. When you get your old ones out, look at them. There is an underbody panel, a crossframe, and the trunk side. Found this out on my 69, the hard way.
