Just finished up this past weekend doing all the brake suspension sticky upgrades to my 68 Coupe. The car was up on blocks from the first week of Dec. 07 to Jan 08. Upgrades included:
3rd Gen Iroc cardone steering box/with reman pump/pressure/ flow upgrade(.147/no shims)
1 1/8 addco front (599) and rear sway bar (671)
TRW 6320 coil springs
4wheel power disc brakes front (69) Camaro/rear 79 trans am master cylinder from a 69 corvette/bendix booster from 69 z28/right stuff detailing new steel lines and ebay prop valve.
JCW rear 3 21-245 leaf springs
budget 8.5 Nova 10 bolt posi with 3.42 gears
Jegster bolt in subframe connectors/ with new (CIP) clips
15X8 4.5 backspace ralleys rear/15X7 ralleys front(FW) i think I am going with 245/60/15 rear and 215/65/15 BFG T/A radials front

Its been a real learning experience and what I think is a sucessful outcome as the car is back on the road and stops and handles great! Driving it easy for now to settle in the rear end gears and listening for anything unusual. I am having to learn to drive again. The old mono leaf springs sagged and the car now sits ~2 inches higher in the back and seems lower in the front measures 14" from fender lip to wheel center. I like the look! The brakes are the biggest change going from manual 4 wheel drum to power 4 wheel disc not hardly any leg required to stop and pedal is good.

I cant thank Team Camaro Members enough as all the information is here to do the upgrades and if you take your time and research and gather your parts ahead of time you should have a successful project. Take your time, follow proper torque guidelines, and work safe.

Glad everything worked out well. Yep, this place rocks. I did most of the same upgrades you listed, and there's no way in hell I could have done it without the help of the team members here.

It's unbelievable how it drives now, eh? :beers:

Its much more responsive and firm feeling, not flimsy and loose. I like to that I am driving with parts from multiple GM car lines and generations a true smorgasboard of parts, Caddilac caliper brackets, Pontiac rear disc, IROC steering, Nova rear,THM 350. Now I think I need to add shoulder belts as the stopping is so good. Also the alignment shop dialed in the front end with the specs I provided and I have good return to center with the IROC box 3.9 + caster, 0 camber, 1/8 toe in. It tracks straight Its a driver, grocery getter so I am happy with around town performance. Its also been interesting getting used to the posi, as I have heard it chattering a little when going around a corner, I figure if I do some figure "8"s in a parking lot it will help distribute the friction modifier. I think I learned that from the forum so I wasnt worried when I felt the slight shuddering. Still driving it easy and running out the 2 month old gas.
