I was reading one of my referance books last night, and there was a graph that showed optional/ standard equipment for 1969 camaros broken down by engine size. I am still trying to find any/ all ways to be certain my car was an original BB car. The graph indicated that the BB cars had different lower ball joints. Anyone else know anything about this? The book i was looking in was written by john hooper and covered ZL1s/Z10s/Z11s/COPOs and most of the "dealer" specials.

I don't have a computer at home, so i go to my sisters office & use hers. I work 12-hr shifts, so i won't be able to get back to you for a few days; but please don't forget about me! I appreciate any help offered.

" The 1969 Camaro referance book" by John Hooper. It's on page 26 "Equipment included with optional V8 engines". "Special lower ball joints in front suspension". Any one else see this? My car appears to have all original front suspension, wonder what the difference would be.

Good question! I see it but have no idea what was so special.
And this reminds me of a story.:D
Since my car was new I would grease the joints every time I changed the oil. That was ALL joints, every where there was a zerk, it would get a shot of grease. :o Not good. I was just blowing out good grease and making a mess. Then, about 21 years ago I checked my lower ball joints for wear. Shot. So much for grease. And I was using moly lube from the day it was invented. Anyway, I replaced the joints. The car was going to sit because winter was coming. And the next spring a buddie invited me to autocross. He had installed a Rancho system on his Trans Am. Off we went. Fun. I was the second fastest car at the event. The only car that beat me was a mustang with a 460 and the back window COVERED with decals from companies that made autocross stuff. And his tires were two feet wide. Nope, not an excuse for losing to him. Hey, I had his ass beat when it came to horse power! No, I lost to him because I forgot the 'rule'. Always realign after changing ball joints. I was toed-in ONE INCH. Burned up my nearly new Gatorbacks. The cord was showing when I looked. Damn. Well, it took a year and a half to find the right ones in dealer old-stock. I wanted to match my back ones. Those tires are still on the car and still have the paint between the threads showing.
But the molding nubs are nearly gone. Problem. The rears are fading fast. Check out my web site.:D

Maybe it's just my computer, but yourcar sounds pretty loud (nice). What exhaust are you running?

What exhaust? Just headers. But the drag racing video sounds are all through full exhaust.

I've never heard of BB special lower balljoints.
I have heard of Moog ADJUSTABLE lower balljoints. Guldstrand used to list them in his Catalog. They could be adjusted for wear and tightened back up.
