did you try putting your rears on the front? I use to run 225/65/15 on the front of my '68 on 15x7's; 255/60's on the rear on 15x8's. Your 69 might be a bit closer on fender clearance though.

Not yet, good thought..........my car looks in the weeds,do you have stock suspension on your 69 project car ???If so could you get me a measurement center line of bearing cap/rally cap to fender lip....Wow...just looked at your video on your 68 427 Dyno....VERY IMPRESSIVE:beers::thumbsup:Really tell the motor is a hoss :D when it backs down the RPM sudden and it torques back the other way:yes:NICE:D

Thanks... the 69 was a 6cyl car and it must have some old springs in the front, since it sits almost as low as the '68 which is dropped a couple inches. It measures 13.5" from the bottom of the fender lip to the center of the wheel/spindle.

The new motor has been a blast... rolling burnouts get kind of addicting- I can't wait for spring!

I dug up a pic of the '68 with the 215/255 front/rear combo-- I'm starting to get nostalgic for the look; the 17's may go over onto the '69 and the rally's may come back off the shelf again; although they do give up a some handling-
