My last post made me think of another great time during the day. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and down the road just over the city line was Roxborough, PA. and there was a car club ther called the "Contenders" We suburban boys would go down there on weekends to race and the presidant of their club had the baddest Camaro around,almost unbeatable. I don't remember what it was but I thought I would throw that out there is it jogged anyone's memory.:D

well Stevy Foster had a bad *** white 69 Camaro and a 69 Pace car he still has that ,but he was not in a club and my Neighbor had a Blue 70 ss 375 hrp with white stripes and an L88 hood His name was Andrey ? spelling ?
and my other buddy steave had and still has a 70 chevelle onvertible .
I think there where more hard core guys near city line ave there was a race shop out that way If i rember right it was called "K&G" speed shop . I didn't know any of those guys But they had some mean cars .

I am very familiar with K&G. They are in Broomall and are still inbusiness.
