Hello!

I want to install new wheel studs because of a brake conversion. Now I noticed that my new press fit studs have a bigger diameter of the "knurling". So it's not possible to press in without drilling. But what is the right bore size for a press fit?

The new studs have approx 13 mm (0,51 inch) od at the knurling.

Mine were .480" press-in, BUT now I have 1/2" screw-in studs b/c of my new Pony-car "Bullitt's"......

Try here.................

Good luck and you can also take an OEM one out and go to a big parts store and look through their drawer of studs untill you find what you need/want.

Thank you very much. I found the studs on the list with information about bore size.

But the recommended hole is only 0,008" smaller than the knurl => Is this right?

Because I live in Germany it's not so easy to find parts. I bought the the studs years ago on ebay. So I will modify the bore sizes and the length of the studs.
