ProdigyCustoms Feb 3rd, 08, 09:35 AM Must not be any shops there because we just drove all the way up there from Florida to bring one back, LOL! Seriously, I am sure there are some shops around, eveyone seems to be looking for work up there. AutoRodTechnologies Feb 3rd, 08, 09:38 AM I just pm'd him a list of about 4 shops. There are plenty of shops in michigan that do good work, just have to find them.. It's funny how cars are getting transported back and forth.. There are a few shops that just went south to pick up a project, and people from south bringing them back from up here.. Not sure why, most are just rust buckets around here.. lol ProdigyCustoms Feb 3rd, 08, 10:26 AM Yeah, i would expect there to be some really good shops in the motor city area. Only makes sense. The car we picked up is a full build to "our theme" which partly explains him shipping to Florida. looks like you guys do some good work, maybe he should check you out. I have been seeing shops moving out of michigan, one shop just north of me, moved to tennesee, even detroit speed and engineering just moved out.. another guy i know that worked in kalamazoo michigan, just moved down to work with detroit speed. From what i've been hearing it's just more economical to operate down south, plus they can drive their cars year around.. so that does make sense.. Thanks for the compliment, definetely appreciate it.. |
