Well time flies as we all know ... Sometimes too fast ... Here's my story ... In 1996, I began the restoration of a 1969 Camaro SS automatic, power windows, power brakes, car that I purchased from the 3rd owner for $2,000 (Josh Parry from the NFL #49 with the Eagles and then the Seahawks) ... It wasn't my first Camaro ... At a much younger age I owned a REAL Z/28 ... Back to the subject ... Yesterday since being broken down for coming on 12 years ... The car was started ... file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Kevin/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpgfile:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Kevin/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-1.jpg:hurray: It runs and I have once again become happy with this Camaro SS ... Jokingly to a friend ... "The car woke up to find a new set of shoes and a new set of duds" (I found off of ebay a set of SS wheels) ... (Someone had put some Chevy rally wheels on it) ... I mounted a set of raised white lettering steel belted radials ... The car was painted 3 years ago, back to the original Lemans Blue and the SS side stripes (wow) ... It looks very impressive if I should say so mysef ... It'll be hitting the road once again in a few weeks give or take ... I am not in a hurry ... I just want it to be done right and in ORIGINAL restored condition ... Anyways ... 2 Feb 2008, a day to remember for me for ever ... BTW, it is a 1969 Camaro built in Sept 1968 ... Thus coming on 40 years old, I used all the original parts (yes, pounding out and using body filler) ... Gosh she's beautiful ... So, this car is getting back it's life coming on 40 years old ... Of course there are some electrical problems to overcome but me?, Once again happy ... Kevin (kmg69ss)
