Well, we got another round of snow Wednesday night so the roads are covered in salt AGAIN. Heck, the salt was still on from the last round and now they have added more. It will take quite a few good down pours to get this washed off.

I have unhooked the battery for now in my '69 and just go in there and put the charger on trickle to keep my department store battery up. I do not winterize any of my toys and I hate to see them sit this long with out getting them out for a drive. Now, I don't mind getting the motorcycle out on the salty roads to drive because it is so much easier to clean when I am done. I desiged my garage to be able to wash my cars and bikes inside. With it being heated and cooled, it makes it real nice to be able to clean them inside. I can wash the entire car and then dry it before it water spots.

I have installed a power plug on my motorcycle now so that I can attach a trickle charger to it very easy. So far I have not had an issue with the bike battery. Being it is the original battery and the bike is a 2003 with over 23,000 miles on it, I am sure I will need a new battery soon.
