I finally got the nerve to tackle the ONE bad spot on my 68 SS. I cut out a 4 inch by 11 inch piece in front of the rear tire on the passenger side. I ASSUMED there was a patch panel available. I'm not having any luck finding one. Do they exist? Also, is it possible to replace just the outer 2 or 3 inches of the outer wheel housing without removing the quarter? This is my first attempt at any kind of bodywork. So far, no good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mike. :beers::beers:

Worse case... but an 80% quarter and cut out what you need.

I did mine, bit larger going back right over the wheel well....no patch panel
In older post instruction how to
Bsically ..cut a patch(S) to butt weld, stitch about 1/2 inch apart with a bit of tapping to shape as you go then fully butt weld and grind off... a thin skim (about 0 to 1mm) at most of filler to finish.
