I am starting a 67 Camaro project car and currently I have a 67 427 L88 engine in the bay. I am planning on getting a crate engine and would like to sell this one. Does anyone know what it is worth?

Casting numbers and date codes will make all the difference.Jeff

Also, how complete is it with the original parts?

It is block only, as the rest has long since been traded. I remember looking at the book way back when, and it as listed a corvette multi-carb engine. But my memory may not be that good or that is just what I wish to believe. I will get the cast numbers as that is the only way to tell. I am hoping that it will have some value to a collector as my plan is going to include a crate motor. I am a BB guy at heart but after looking at the LSX motor I think I just converted. Anyway thanks and more information to come shortly.

I would think a 67 L88 block would be quite valuable to the Corvette crowd.

L-88 had a single Holley 850 carb. Rated at 425 horse. The tri-power set up was a Corvette only option and was rated at 435 horse, but it wasn't called an L-88. Diferent cam, intake, and pistons.

Actually the 67 L88 was rated at 430 hp.
