I am Frank and a resident of Los Angeles California and new to these forums. I am dang glad I found them. Any way I am starting my project car 29 years after I bought it. Not that I did not, drive/race it for a long time but it is now time to restore it. Anway, I have a PJ 67 Camaro. I am not going for the by the numbers restore but more of a better than original kind of pro touring type. I do not know how far I am going. I have tons of questions (will try to get them in the right forums, skold me if I don't) and will start firing them off asap.

I dig this place and can not wait to read more. I am sure this forum will replace my lunch time hobby of tracking the where abouts of Britney Spears on TMZ.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I used to do a lot of street racing in the 80's. Used to march it around Sacramento in the day. I have done a lot of work since then. New Tranny, rearend, suspension but it is not at all what I really wanted to do in the way I really wanted it done. So I am not certain how deep I am wanting to go and will be looking on this site for help. I think the best plan is an achievable one. I think I never started as all that I wanted to do was not really possible, but today I see all these brackets I used to fabricate now available from suppliers I think that is awesome. I see all the front end clips now and can not wait to see what I can do. I was planning on making it drivable again until i tapped the rear window and it fell out. That was the omen as it needed a ground up restore. I am now looking for an entry point, where to start, and then go from there.
