I have the opportunity to buy 3 GM in the box NOS cowl induction hoods. What should I pay for them? What are they worth?

Thanks
Todd

If the hoods are steel, then around $190- $220 each. If they are fiberglass, $300 - $400.

These are "GM" factory Cowl induction hoods brand new in the box. They are metal of course. Not repro, not fiberglass. The real deals...

$200-300? That sounds way to low to me...

Classic does not have them in stock, nor do most GM dealers. The GM cowl hoods have been discontinued as of a few months ago.

If the ones you can buy are nice and in the GM boxes, $600-$1000 each. Anything less is a good buy.

mean buzzen half dozen

Ebay sells them for around $1000.00 on average.

Very easy to find them at $600.00. There are still plenty lying around.

If you "think" you might want one, better spring for it now. Everything that GM discontinues tends to skyrocket in price within a year or two.

BTW, I'll bet GM made more GM cowl hoods over the years than they made first gen Camaros!

The goodmark hoods are made so well that it alone drives the cost down.If for your self you need to decide what your willing to pay. If for sale you may need to hold them for some time to make a profit unless you get them cheep.I payed $250 for mine 22 years ago.
