I have a set on my 67. 17's on the front and 18's on the rear. I love them and get a lot of good comments on them. Good guys to deal with. Ordered them and had them on my car in about two weeks.

I looked into getting a set of C5's back 2 yrs ago before I got new wheels and have seen them in person. There are a good looking wheel and well constructed. I just was seeing too many TT2's on cars around here and didn't want to blend in with every one else. Get them you'll be happy.

I've got some chrome C-55's in 18's for the rear and 17's for the front ordered......I'll try to post a pic in a few days when I get them in and on the Camaro. coyswheel.com has a gallery with a bunch of pics, prices....etc.

i have a set of coys c-5 wheels. i like them alot and i get alot of people who like them also. i have 17x7 4.25bs in the front and 17x8 4.5bs in the back, i wish i would have gone with 9.5in. wide in the back though. ill post a couple pictures when i get home.

the nice thing about the c-5 is they have a special valve stem that is removable and has a nice plug, also they are decent amount cheaper then the torque thrusts.

here is the link to the website http://www.coyswheel.com/

what size drop do you have? And what suspension do you have?

Also I called coys wheel and the said 9.5" rim while not fit on the rear without modding the rear.

i have the hotchkis 2" in the front and 1.5" in the back. the front tires are tucked maybe a 1/4 inch and the back tires are just at the body line(maybe they will drop more, i recently installed them). i have no body modifications and no rubbing with 235 in the front and 255 in the back.

if you want more on the tire size/drop info, just browse previous posts to get an idea, thats what i did.

Here's a pic with my new Coy's C-55's in 18x8 with 255/45's on the rear and 17x7 w/ 235/45's on the front. No rubbing and the wheels look great with Nexen directional tires. These have the lowest amount of weights on them that I have ever had on a set of wheels...........

from what ive read on other threads....the widest rim is 9.5" in 17 and 18 inch rims. the biggest tire you can fit is a 275. im not exactly sure on the fitment of those wheels though, some say they rub, some say they don't, some had to cut their fender lip.
id suggest doing a search or calling up the guys when you order.

255/35zr20 back. 235\40zr 18 in the front. The car rides pretty good to me but I have never rode in one with different tires or suspension to compare to.

I ordered my Coy's C-55 Chrome wheels and Nexen tires on a Friday and received them on the next Thursday, mounted , balanced lug nuts and nice hidden valve stems! They had a very low amount of weights on them and are smooth as silk @ 70 mph!!

Hi

I´m a guy from Denmark that just got me a 69 Camaro, i want to buy a set of Coys C-5 to come home with the car, i want them in 18 " front and rear, the suspension in stock now but i just also buy a complete suspensionkit from Summit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=HSS%2D80015&FROM=MG to give the car the right look:cool: the rearend is a 12 bolt with 30 spline moser axels. (if that info helps)
I think that my rim size will look like this :
Front 18*8 what about backspace?
Rear 18*9,5 again what about backspace?

Does any of you have try this on your 69 before so you know what i need to order?
Will that fit my car and/or is there someting that need my attention.?

If you need further info please ask me..

Regards

Morten, contact David at Coy's Wheel and Tire 801-356-2929, he can give you good advice on what will work for you. I'm sure there is also someone here that has them on their 69, so just be patient for answers...... you may even want to post your question as a new thread, since this one is older. I have a 68 Camaro with Coy's C-55's, 18x8's 4.5 backspace with 255/45 tires and 17x7, 4.0 backspace on the front with 235/45 tires. I was going to go with 18's on the front and the recommended tire was a 245/40, that wasn't enough sidewall for me. Good Luck
