Gentlemen,

I would like to use PPG 9317 for my dash (I believe this is correct suede finish) The local idiot (kids) PPG reps always melt down when I ask them to mix according to a PPG #. My question is; What is the mixing ratio for the PPG 9317 Suede Black dash paint for a 69? I tried some 30% mix, however, it did not go on well and appears too shiney.

Thanks in advance,

Doug

My PPG sheet show the same code 9317, they should be able to mix it correctly from the formula number...note: 9317 is listed as 0 gloss for the dash top. What you could do is have them give you some flattening agent and add some to your mix and do a test panel, just be sure to stir the holy crap out of it and let the test panel dry thoroughly
