I know I should have more info as to what missing parts come with this car and more pictures but I will soon.
I'm hoping you guys can give me a ball park value on this car. And if it appears to be a true X22 car. I may have the car pulled from this jam packed room and lifted for better viewing.
VIN#124379N711429
Trim tag: st6912437 nor158050
711 76 76
11A X22
comes with a non original but fresh rebuilt 396. Not sure of intake, carb, power stearing or distributor at this time.
4 speed #3925661, P9R084 or P9R094 (I couldn't tell), partial vin#stamp 190711429.
12 bolt. I couldnt get to the stamp. I'm to fat and the right rear tire was low.
Interior is nice and clean but shows some wear.
exterior seems very straight and no rust that I've seem so far. paint is probably a 7 or 8. Hard to tell because its a little dusty.
The car seems to have a return fuel line. not sure what that indicates.

picture are coming as soon as I figure it out

looks like a M-20 muncie from the code P9R084A (A) I think it should be a 660 casting # on the trans main case, 661 is 70 or newer if I remember correctly. If you have a "Chevrolet by the Numbers" book it would help you track down the info on the misc parts and decoding them.

Gene is absolutely correct, the tranny's definately not the original... The two fuel lines denotes the larger line is the supply and the smaller line is for the return which tells us if it was a legit big block car it would have been the lower 325 horse power version! On a side note; Geno, I got to see Lyle Moores car at a car show last fall, sure looks great bud, you did a heck of nice job! Wish he'd do something different with the motor and like make it appear more stock since the car is so nice and stock appearing now!!

Hey Tim,
How ya been buddy? Haven't seen you since you left All American. Hows the car biz going? I am very happy with the way Lyle's car came out... I had alot of things I would have done differently tho, but Lyle and I kinda have a difference of opinion on his car (long story), glad to hear he is showing it. I figured he was going to sell it.

I think I may have misread the casting #. I did a DBL take after I wrote the number down then saw the I at the far right. Its hard to see in this photo but I think it its a 660.

Looks like a good start :) but I would get all the info and numbers sorted before you make an offer on the car... or are you a new owner? You can also post the trim tag and vin number info and pic in the 'Tag Team' Section and get a decode and opinion on the tag. I would take a flash light and peer down inside the cowl and look at the back side of the cowl tag rivets and see if they look like they have been messed with. Car was Daytona Yellow originally

"Double" fuel lines on a big block could either be the 325hp or the 350hp version of the 396. The only one it could not be was the 375hp version.

Of course, it could also be a 350/300hp SS or 350/255LM1 as well......
Both of them got the double fuel ines.
Make sure the tag is real.......

Tag is real and trans date DOES line up with the build of this car. Looks like the trans was built Oct 8 on an 11A car.

If the body is decent I would say its worth at least $20K as you describe.
