I am hoping to get some suggestions as to where to start looking for my electrical problem? I was driving my 69 RS when it died. I mean no lights, no ignition, no power anywhere except at the battery. I have 13 volts at the battery (New Optima), but after that nothing. My fuses all check out ok. This happened to me once before, and after a few minutes, it started up and ran fine for 3 weeks. I have not had time to dig into it, so I thought maybe someone could point me in the right direction to save me some time I can't seem to find right now.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

there are some fusable links by the regulator and horn relay
I would bet one of them melted, but you should find out why and not just replace it

Do you have any extra electronics on your car? Thats where I would start looking for the problem

One by the battery also. Start checking with a meter or test light to see where you have power (junction block, horn relay alternalor BAT stud, ect...) and where you don't.
