Well, I see Brackneyc posted a story about his daughters accident and how nice the people were. Heres the flip side of the story, my wife and I went to Lava Hot Springs Idaho for the weekend, and no sooner did we get in the room, my daughter calls all shook up about wrecking the car. A girl same age as my daughter crossed two lanes and sideswiped her at the intersection. My daughter was in the right turn lane about 50 feet from turning to the right when the other driver run into her. She got out of the Cherokee and started to scream at my girl to get off the phone with the police, and that even if they come she will get the ticket anyway. I guess she was so loud the dispatcher told my daughter to stay in the car and on the phone till a officer arrives. Then the girls boyfreind shows up adding to Nickys fear. No one stopped to see if they were OK, but after the officer arrived and investigated the accident, he turned my daughter loose and gave the other driver a ticket for the accident. What a zoo it was being 200 miles away and trying to deal with this over the phone. Nicky is OK, just a little sore, but I fear the Monte Carlo LSX package with only 25000 K has seen better days. I am just glad no one was hurt. Oh yeah, the other girl sounds like she is going to fight the ticket, slowing down the repair process..................

Mike...
Glad your daughter wasn't hurt. In todays times, you never know what will happen after an accident. The other drivers mood, actions may be more scary than the accident. The car will be fixed soon but the thoughts of it will last quite a bit longer.

How about "daughter in law"?? Rear ended in her shoebox Scion XB at an intersection with the grandchild on board, everyone ok, only bumper damages (cracked) too.

Sorry to hear about that. My daughter had a good attitude after the accident, and it didn't come from me giving her the "fathers" reassurance that everything would be ok. The others involved did more for her attitude than I ever could have. Glad your daughter is ok. We sure love our kids. :)

It just goes to show you some people are *never* wrong. Even when the police find they are :D.
