Flemming Garage, seen another post about this earlier. How can you buy a car with out a Trim Tag?

Should know better to buy or sell a "Rare" 69 RS/SS Convertible car is probally legit but who wants to get stuck with a high dollar car with out a trim tag?

Advertised as "numbers matching", but keep reading, ya gotta love this sentence...

"THIS GREAT SUPER SPORT REPRODUCTION WILL MAKE YOU THE ENVY OF YOUR PEERS, AND WITH A #’S MATCHING ENGINE SHOULD GROW IN VALUE EVERY YEAR."

Jeff, you just treat it as a clone and buy for driving condition instead of "resale". But, this should be an early "non-X code car, so not much info on the tag. An air conditioned convertible is VERY hard to clone, so for that alone, it is worth some $$$. IMO, the mix of options would lean this towards being close to factory options. I have seen this mix before.

The SS emblem on the front was replaced, might be "just" an RS. Engine codes and rear numbers would tell. Might be an LM1! :)

If it had a 4 speed and correct stripes, I would be all over it. I send a question in for the numbers :)

Yes, not looking at it for me. I got my hands full. But if it is a clone then sell it as a clone whatever. Now that would be funny if it was a LM1.... I was going to ping him to see if it had a 12-bolt posi and post the numbers.... Just the Trim Tag really gets
to me for a high dollar car, that is it...

I liked this from the ad, didn't realize Eleanor was actually a Camaro. I also liked the even more rare Horn delete option. "TERMS OF SALE
THE RESERVE ON THIS FABULOUS GT500E “ELEANOR” IS SET AT A REASONABLE PRICE."
