Hard to say - the fever probably didn't break until he had tourched out all the old $hit to install the 4X stuff ...

'Could easily be put back to a 69 convertible ...' :noway:
I don't think so

That would come in handy for the Winter up here. Then I could drive a Camaro all year round!

It's amazing how many guys cut up perfectly good old cars to put big tires under them.

There used to be a guy around my old neighborhood that had a 4x4 57 Bel Air  Man what a waste.

I think you may have worded this a little incorrectly. I think two big tires and slammed are the way to go.......

The fact that he wants $22,500.00 for it is as bad as what he did to it.

oh, goody.. another "4X4 Camaro" thread..
i know a guy that put a 79 Z/28 body on a fullsize Blazer chassis without cutting the body at all. he didn't even have to drill any holes in the body- he just made some brackets to use the stock body and suspension mounting points. it actually looks pretty nice for something he only has about $500 into, and, except for the lack of visibility and general pain of getting in and out, it does ok out on the trails.

It's worded correctly. It just seems to me that there is a holier than thou attitude by the guys who only have two big tires and can't drive in the snow.

There was guy around my neighborhood when I was a kid that had a Gremlin X on a 4X4 frame. It was nicely done and had a cool paint job on it. All of us kids thought it was awesome. It actually didn't look out of place, looked really mean.
