What electric fans are u running and rad? If u could post pics that would be great too.

SPAL dual fans and Griffin Rad.

I am using the Flex-A-Lite Black Magic part #FLX-180. Here is a link. It comes with it's own shroud and temp switch, relay, etc.

As far as rad, I am running the BeCool aluminum unit for a big block, even though I have a small block. The core is 23" as opposed to 21" for the SB. The holes are in the same place. I did not have to do any re-drilling. It bolted right up. The only I did was remove some of the core support to allow air to flow over the entire core.

Check out the BB aluminum radiator and dual spal fan set up by Entropy on ebay. Looks like the one eville has but half the cost. Also comes with or without the built in tranny cooler.

Mine looks like the pic (double pass LSX/BB radiator), except it has the built-in recovery tank.

yeah, I'm actually running the LSx style on mine... just in case I ever make the switch.

I ran 97 LT1 fans and an original BB radiator for a few years then I installed a Be-Cool unit. They both worked great! The only reason I switched to the Be-Cool unit was for more bling. The LT1 fans/stock radiator setup worked great and I have never had cooling issues with either one.

Lincoln Mark VIII fan ($140) and a factory fit BB aluminum radiator ($300). Never had a cooling issue even when I daily drove in my 69 with AC and it gets pretty toasty down here, LOL!

Matt, first time seeing this post I got mine from Dave at raceware its a dual 11" that looked similar to the ones post here but didn't stick out on the sides.If you get a dual 11 you will need to cut the core support about 3/4" on both sides to get it to fit.I got him to build mine without the angles on the sides and made my on bottom mounts.It cost around $750 and it came with the Dakota digital controller thats pretty cool I have it programed where the fan runs 45 seconds after the car shuts off.I had some pictures but lost them some where in my computer.Heres a link where you can get his information.

First off let us know what year, engine and some general stuff about your car. You say cooling fan problems. Are you running elec. fans or the original mech. fan or clutch fan? Is the car overheating? Tell us what's going on. Oh yea, welcome to Team Camaro the greatest forum you will ever find! There is so much info here on this site. Also you say you don't know how to ask. Just go to the individual sections that best fit what you are working on to ask your questions. If you don't see something that fits, go to the General section. Also you can do searches. Go to the top of the page or top of the sections, push the search button and type in general info. Such as timing problem or suspension rebuild or transmission swap, etc. Do a lot of reading and ask a lot of questions.
