where is the plug going to be located for rear light harness----shud it be in the trunk area or farther towards the front of car------67 rs ss:yes:

The rear harness plugs into the dash harness near the top of the drivers side kick panel. There should be enough wire for you to fish the connector out.

ok i am wanting to replace harness with new ----------any manufactures better than other---------pictures i have seen the harness doesnt look long enuf to go all the way to front-------------thanx

I recently rewired my entire 68 and it does plug into the dash/main harness in the left kick panel area (kind of behind the e-brake handle/pedal). I used all American Auto Wire and I will never use anything else. Their customer service is actually customer service! One of the harnessees I bought was the wrong harness, which I bought through Classic Ind., and they didn't want to take it back due to the time since purchase - but AIW did. Everything has been right where it should be, too, plastic push clips, connectors, everything. Their harnesses are so well made even I could rewire my car. :D
