$1,901.00 and reserve not met? Are they really that Expensive?
I think maybe I will just part out 1 of my cars and sell the parts? LOL.
prostreet69camaro Feb 9th, 08, 10:20 AM Yes NOS parts are selling for unreal prices. People that have special cars like Z-28, COPO, Yenko, Dana just to name a few are restoring them with factory parts. They obviously have plenty of money too.
I sold 2 roof rail seals for 2700.00 on ebay and repo cost like 50.00. Go figure
69CamaroRT Feb 9th, 08, 10:48 AM a couple of months ago on ebay there was a nos in the original box dashpad that sold with a buy it now price for $500. i should have bought it but i hesitated and a couple minutes later i went back to the auction and someone snagged it:(. someone got one hell of a deal.

69CamaroRT Feb 9th, 08, 01:14 PM nope, different buyer. buyer who bought it is in illinois
rs69ss Feb 9th, 08, 01:40 PM Well what i like about it , makes the repops that don't fit perfectly not so bad
Microgiant Feb 9th, 08, 03:40 PM There have been NOS wingnuts sold for hundreds of dollars. Now to me that is pure stupidity.
Unreal Feb 10th, 08, 09:37 AM Geez Kevin, I'd better send you a check!!
smith69z Feb 10th, 08, 12:14 PM And can you really tell the difference between NOS and reproductions?
tonycamaro Feb 10th, 08, 12:29 PM You can definately tell the difference between NOS and reproductions. Not only is the edge stitching different, but the reproduction ones are much shinier than the originals. I have both an NOS non A/C, and an NOS A/C one.
Unreal Feb 10th, 08, 04:00 PM Do they both have the "bald spot?"
smith69z Feb 11th, 08, 06:13 AM How can you tell if you have an original without a known GM to compare with? I wonder if mine is original or repro. Came lose with the car.
dyno jonn Feb 11th, 08, 08:58 AM The latest reproduction I have seen was all rubber, no fiberglass or whatever backing to make it stiff. Limp as a ......
