I see that this is your first post here and it's about a 4th gen. You will get a better idea of what it's worth and what they are going for at this web site it;s for the 4th gens. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/

they are fun to drive.. I'll give them that .. but I get more thumbs up in my basketcase 67RS than I do in my 97SS.

P.s. Do away with that Skull sticker on the hood .... Unless the next buyer digs that sticker. Just MHO!

Why should he do away with anything on his car(skull sticker)? It's his car and he likes it. He isn't trying to sell his car. If no one personalized their cars it would get boring.

Ummm, Sickness posted the pic of the 35th and SLP02SS was asking about prices. But I agree with you if Sickness were selling his it would definitely bring more money if it were stock appearing especially being a 35th Anniversary Edition SS.

Click on the 2nd link in my sig. 99 T/A 408, PG, 9", 4:10 gears, slammed and a 300 shot of sauce. 5.73@121MPH on a 1.32 60ft of course in the 1/8th. Oh and I have a 99 Artic White Z28 with RS ground effects, an OEM SS hood, Y2K Vette 5 spoke skinnies, slammed thanks to an Eibach Prokit, blacked out tail panel with CME exhaust and rear valance.

The 35th anniv package cars bring the most which might be low 20's. A regular SS is realistically mid to high teens if you're lucky enough to find the right buyer. I paid $13K for my 2000 SS in Dec 06 with 33K miles on it.

I AGREE. These cars havent started to appreciate yet and are still depreciating rather quickly. Almost 2 years ago I bought my 2002 WS-6 Ram air convertible T/A w/ 18k miles for only $19,000. Their currently selling for much less. I think 15/16k is about right.

JMO.......of course.

man .. I was'nt dogging anybody .. when I read his post .. I read it as if he was looking for a price to put on it so he can it, thats it.

Yeah I keep my mouth shut when someone shows off there pride and joy and theres alot of things on there that I dont agree on, but yeah like you said .. its there car and if they want to paint PeeWee-Herman shrine on the hood, thats there thing.

A friend of mine works at a used car dealership and he called to tell me he had a 02 SS on the lot and he sold it for 18K .. it had like 100K on the clock. I had no idea that they had a resale tag that high. But then again they are used car salesman's, so I can see how they can squeeze out every dollar from you.

I recently saw a 02 Berger 485hp car w/ 75k miles SELL FOR $18,500

Know one wanted it because of the miles.

I happen to like the skull myself. But then again I'm a metalhead in an old man's body (LOL). I also have a 4th gen (2002 Z28 NBM A4) as a toy.
