I'm wondering can the plastic gizmo that holds the cooler be reused? Or are they destroyed once they are removed? What is the best way to remove them?

TIA

if yo uare talking about the plastic things that are jammed thru the cooler and radiator cores to hold the cooler in place, then, no, they can't be removes without destroying them. you just cut them and take the cooler off. when it comes time to put the cooler back on, get something that you can use to mount it better to the core support- like maybe some aluminum or steel 1/2" angle or something.

if this quote is the right thing you can get just the mounting kit from an auto parts store.
