Hi all,

Has anyone ever replaced their dash panel with an aftermarket replecement? The area under my windshield isn't too bad but I was wondering if the panel replacement is a b*tch and what I should know before going that route.

Thanks!

It's not really that bad of a job. You will have to remove the windshield, dash pad, etc for access. Make absolutely sure you note where all the clips are before removing them to avoid the head scratching when you put it back together.

i replaced mine and i will have to admit i have tackled worst jobs. take alot of measurements b-fore you remove your old one. mine was in TERRIBLE shape. i couldn't get all the measurements i wanted because the windshield was already gone.but what i could get really helped out.once i got it all cleaned and ready for the new panel i trial fitted it and trial fitted the windshield. all in all it came out great.if pics will help out email me and i will get them to you. GOOD LUCK

Thanks Toby and Hideaway,

My windshield is already out (don't even have one to begin with) and the dash is bare. If you could email me a couple of pics, that would be great! It'll help me see the shape of the replacement piece and what I need to do.

Thanks!
