Hi guys. Hoping someone will know the correct list of interchanging cars that share hood hinges with my 69 camaro with a cowl induction steel GM hood. Please help...

Hood hinges for 67-69 Camaro interchange with:

65-67 Chevelle
66-67 Nova
65-67 Impala
67-69 Firebird


Springs also interchange. Cowl hoods get standard springs, while the SS gets a heavier version with more coils due to the weight of the chrome ornaments.

I think that it is only 67-69 F-bodies including Firebirds.

Shows a different part number for the 68-79 Nova. Not showing as an interchangeable part with the 67-69 Camaro, so not sure it would work.

My guess is it would not. :(

Todd, aren't these readily available in reproduction? Why mess with old stuff that could be worn-out? (Not my hinges, they're perfect) Oh, mine are the SS springs. COOL! To open the hood, just hit the release FAST and then catch the hood as it flys open.:thumbsup:
