for a 55' chevy pickup, the later 55' body style. It has a 12bolt, camaro frame, decent body, rusted cab corners, aged paint, needs tires, 350sbc, th350, front disc, rear drums. It was daily driven until it was parked outside 5 yrs. ago. The truck is not listed for sale, but it is my neighbors and I stopped and asked if he would be interested in selling it and he said yes. The more I look at it the more I want it as a parts hauler and to drive it on nice days to work (3 miles) and it would be something fun to tinker with while working on my camaro.

Cant help much on the "how much" but it sounds like a nice driver. I have a 56 Chev PU that I have a 76 Camaro clip for the front. Same plan as you said, nice driver that looks cool.
Got some pics? When not sure where to start on a price I usually as the seller "what do you need to get for it?".
Gives me something to start with.

No, pics. I asked the seller what he wanted out of it, but he asked what I would give for it. I feel like since he didn't have it "for sale" and I approached him that it is reasonable for me to start with the first offer. What do you think about $2,500 as a starting price.
