Rabid K-9 Jul 30th, 01, 08:02 AM Did any 69 Camaro SS's come with Z28 stripes? I know the pace car did, but what about any other SS's? Just curious because I want to turn mine into an SS 350 clone, but I have Z28 stripes. THANKS! I like them, but my 69 already has the Z28 stripes. I like these too. Just trying to avoid a new paint job and do with what I have. Unreal Jul 30th, 01, 11:39 AM I believe the only SS's with "Z/28" stripes were the Z10 and Z11 pace cars. All others hade either the hockey stick stripes, or modified bumblebee stripes that surrounded the nose with a pair of tapered stripes that ran back the hood. SY1 Aug 1st, 01, 07:46 AM The modified bumblebee strip you are talking about is the DX1 stripe option I believe and yes it was available on all modles including the SS. I like the hockey stripes too. The Z stripes look okay on a cowl hood, but look terrible on an SS hood in my opinion, they take away from the beauty of the SS hood. | ||
