I'm going to be bolting my sub frame back to the body in the near future. I bought Energy Suspension Poly body mounts, and I'm completly lost on how they go together. Does anyone have any pictures of the mounts installed.
What I don't under stand is.......Does the metal sleeve, with the flat washer looking deal on the end, go flush against the body? If so, would'nt this let the body move around. Hopefully someone can help out with this, and get me to see the light.

I have seen this statement on to many others posts. That's why I strongly suggest that people buy the prothane complete body bushing kit with hardware. They have very good instruction and pics on how it should go altogether. I am not familiar with what ESP has for parts in their kit, but I will try to help. I just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago and I have my instructions right here in front of me. So I am going by what they have for parts. By their instructions the center sleeves are of different lengths. Shortest at the front and work your way back. Starting at the core support the side view would be your bolt, washer, upper mount, core support, lower mount, smaller sleeve, washer, frame, washer and nut. The mid and rear body mount are the same configureation, factory nut, body, thin washer, upper mount, sleeve, frame, lower mount, thick washer and bolt. The mid and rear bushings, the upper part of the bushing is the part with the sleeve protruding out of it. The bottom is the female part. The core support is just the opposite with the female part being on top and the male part being the lower in between the support and the frame. Does the ESP kit only give you bushings? Are they(the bushings) numbered or have any instructions? Of course your smaller ones are for the front. By the Prothane kit it looks like the center mount has a little larger OD sleeve but it is a little shorter. The rear bushing is about an 1/8" smaller in OD but is a little bit longer. Sorry I don't have picture capability. Otherwise I'ld take a pic of the instructions. Clear as mud?:confused:

Thanks Gene  for providing Jc with the instructions. Probably a lot more help than I was. I'm surprised ES doesn't supply instructions with their kits.

Jc, can I add use anti sieze on the new bolts. It'll make it easier the next time if you need to take it apart.

Thanks everyone, mine came with instructions, but I must be a complete moron. Does the body sit on top of the flat part of the sleeve that slides up through the body bushing. This is the part I'm not 100% sure on.
