Hey all was wondering does GM still make a V-8 air cleaner non open element for 1968 V-8 Camaro?
Or is a repo on the market. I put an original '68 air cleaner on the classified
list and have gotten no calls. It needs to be restored. Is $200 too much to ask.
What should be my price?
Thanks

Yes Doug that's too much. I saw it on there this week. They are fairly common pieces and the style was shared with other GM models. They are found on ebay for $75-100 in that condition. If you have the automatic manifold heat stove and pipe to go with it then those are hard to find and not reproduced.

Thanks Pat I will lower the price. It's always hard for me to put a price on these old parts.

Is it for an automatic or manual trans? Manual trans doesn't have the heat riser assy and is more rare. I was lucky to score one a few years ago.

I will have to go look. Thanks. What did you pay?

I think I only paid $35, but I've never seen another one go that low.
