Hi and sorry for posting this here, but i dont get any feedback with my post in the specified thread already made..

I recently bought a 68 Camaro from USA and i need some helpful hints regarding changing the standard grille (sorry for my english if its not correct.. ) to hide away lights/ rs ss... Is there some kit including all necessary parts i could buy somewhere? I have searched through NPD, rick's first gen and Ground up without any luck of finding it.. As the car will be shipped overseas soon i hoped someone could point me in the direction to look before it departs ;)

http://www.drclassic.com part number R00090 Rally sport conversion kit, was $950 in the 2005 catalog, has probably gone up.

The kit includes all the stuff to convert the headlights and grille to hideaways, including the headlight switch, actuators and vacuum hoses and relay, headlight assemblies, grille parts, etc.

The kit does not contain:
Lower valence and parking lights.
Hood latch
actuator shields
Emblems
Front lghting harness

or anything for the back of the car. They do have all this stuff under separate part numbers

Hi Berg - your post you refer to didn't get an answer because you posted it in a 10 months old thread about '69 rs headlights and you asked about a conversion kit for your '67.

Are you looking for a kit for a '67 or '68? '67s are electric already...

When i wrote it i was looking for to my 67' but changed my mind and will leave it as it is and convert my newly bought 68' instead.. Hence i asked now for a 68' kit. Sorry if i was a bit unclear about this?

And also for posting it originally in a 69' thread, thought it would be almost the same thing. (a site who got kits for a 69 might have for 67/68's was my thought.. i was obviously wrong?)

Daral: thanx, they got at least some of what i was looking for!
