I have everything except a fuel tank, front windshield, motor, tranny. The car was originally blue on blue and since he changed it (previous owner) to red I am going to change the interior to white houndstooth/black. I am picking up the rest of the front end this week. As far as a good deal I do not know if i did or not. What is a nice paint job worth? How bout the time it took to cut and buff the door jams? I hope to have less then 25K in with the L89 copy and 5 speed tremec. If I go with the muncie I could save a few dollars.

25K not to bad for a nice first gen nowadays good luck be careful putting it back together. What HP is your 468 mines a mild 500 off ebay a fresh build though for $3000 hope to change the HP one day in the future.

The big block is nothing special, brodix Aluminum heads, mild roller cam, GM low riser intake, 10 to 1 compression. Should make about 450 and look like a factory 427 when I am done with it. The motor is brand new and set me back $3,600 delivered but figured it was worth it.

Aluminum heads are 2K alone I think you did good with that one did you know the guy? I would like to get aluminum heads some day but would hate to work over new paint changing them.
