Wouldn't he have passed the originals on when he sold the car? I don't quite understand the auction for these copies. Is it so others could make docs for their cars?

How would you guys like it if you bought a rare car with docs and then found out the guy you bought it from made copies of everything and was selling it on ebay?

The car was still in the Detroit area last I knew.
Very nice car. I believe it has the original docs.
