Well got the bushings in this morning wasn't difficult at all..Took me an HR...But I found that one of the middle subframe mounts was rusted and the prior fix was to cut two pieces of plate bigger than the hole and place them on either side of the subframe mount(one between the upper bushing and the subframe and another between the lower bushing and the subframe)......Seems like it works fine..Is this an OK fix..Or should the plates have been welded in..I mean they fit in good and tight within the subframe mounting pocket and the bushing fit nice and tight also(the car has been restored frame off and the subframe detailed and they left this(Go Figure)...Any thoughts??? Don't realy want to have to take the bushing back out grind the area and mig weld it on my back if I don't have too......Thanks in advance
