Been a lurker for a while. Nice site and good information.
The story of my car started in May 1970. Older brother had been looking for replacement for his 67 AMC Rebel 343 with 4 speed. We had been looking at the dealers all over Detriot. Came across 25 executive cars from GM at Mathew-Hargraves all Camaro's. You name and they had it. Brother wanted green coupe SS-350 with 4 speed but they had a Pace car with automatic. It took a lot talking and work but I talked him into the Pace car. It had 5464 miles on it and cost $2800.00. He was considered the original owner. He drove it for a couple of years, great times on Woodard with it. Started school and parked it in a buddies garage. I was able to purchase it in 75 for $1700.00 and has been with me ever since. Have not used it much over the years and sits parked with 70000 miles on her. I'am starting to get the bug to bring her forth. Hopefully things at work will slow down a bit and allow me time to be with the old girl. If anything she has earned it. Look forword working with all.
