It should bolt right on with no problems. You will have to use the flywheel for the older engine. The one off the 95 is a different bolt pattern and also has a weight built into it for balancing the one piece rear main crankshaft.

Sorry I misunderstood your question, I thought you were asking if the bellhousing will work or not. What you need is the bellhousing off the 95. It will bolt up to the earlier engine, but like I said earlier you will need the flywheel to actually match the engine.
