JimM Feb 19th, 08, 08:40 PM ok, I'll tell ya it isn't from a leaking head gasket. But I'd be lying. Been a rash of milky oil posts lately, wonder how come? Search em out and read em. Probably step 1 is to check the rad for bubbles, step 2 to borrow a pressure tester from autozone. And yes, change the oil and filter ASAP, before you run it anymore. It is the season for vast amounts of condensation... keep your fingers crossed. Chevy-SS Feb 21st, 08, 07:18 AM Yeah man, like Jim says - pressure test. That'll tell ya if coolant system is leaking or not. Here's another thread on this subject: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=127421 - no69x-44 Feb 21st, 08, 04:08 PM Also, my guess is that you have been loosing water/anti-freeze in you raditor. That along with that creamy/milky oil in your crank case is a pretty good sign that your head gasket is leaking. Hope it's not an aluminum head that may have warpped. You really don't want to over heat them. Like the good folks said above, presure test and go from there. Good Luck. LT1RUNNER Feb 22nd, 08, 12:28 PM You can also run a test from the radiator to see if you've got a blown head gasket (and it sounds like you do sorry). The kit runs about $50 from Napa auto parts and it only takes a few minutes and you can do it yourself. Rodder Feb 22nd, 08, 09:10 PM ok, I'll tell ya it isn't from a leaking head gasket. Could also be an intake gasket leaking into the valley... And he didn't mention what kind of engine it was... if it's ford 4.6, it's a cracked intake manifold :). JimM Feb 22nd, 08, 09:43 PM Lmao @ Jon... a Foerd 4.6? what the ehck would that be doing in a forstgen, hehe leaking intake won't blow bubbles.
