I have a 68 l89 rs ss camaro i am beginning a retoration on i need help on dates for the heads, i have block, dated sep 25 1967. How far back will i need to get heads dated, to be accurate?

Is the front pad stamped with that date or are you saying the cast date is sept 25,67? could you give us all the numbers on the front pad on the engine? Great car! Kevin

Does the car still have the aluminum heads? That's a great find... only thing wrong with it - it isn't mine! Maybe you could post some pics for us to see. :thumbsup: Kevin
