I recently got cable and flipping thru the channels I came across one that periodically shows commercials from way back when. They call them retro-mercials I think. Anyway I saw one for a 67 Camaro. It was an RS/SS and the grille emblem was an SS on top of 350. I've been looking thru pics on this site and I haven't found one like that. Anybody familar with that kind of emblem?

Most of the repro dealers have them available. FWIW, they seem to have been phased out after the intro of the 396 models. They all just had the SS emblem. If you need to be period correct, check your build date. You can get an "SS 350" gas cap too.....:D

That's what my 67 RS/SS 350 has on the grill, as well as the gas cap. Try calling a place in San Bruno, CA called Steve's Camaro (650)873-1890. They should have one no problem. :beers:

As Mitch stated, the SS model with the small block motor got the SS/350 badging. The big-block version was badged SS.

FWIW.......My 3D 350 only had the SS insignia front and rear while the steering wheel horn cap carries the 350...assume Daral and Jays cars are earlier than mine..

Mine was built the second week of January (01B). It was ordered with a Deluxe steering wheel which just has the Chevy bowtie. It has SS350 on the grill and gas cap.
