I went to look at a 67 Camaro a friend is thinking about buying, and the vin character size looked quite large, not the 1/8 fonts like 68/69. They looked more like the old Corvette vin font size of 5/32. Is this correct or did Norwood use both sizes? Also there was no 1 in front of the vin stamp, it simply read 7N201XXX. Is this Correct? When did Norwood start putting the 1 in front of the year font?
Thanks in Advance.

The full 13-digit VIN should be there on the VIN tag located on the driver's-side hinge pillar. The VIN characters are close to 5/32" in height, much like the characters on a mid-year Corvette. Here's a link to a 67 Norwood Camaro on eBay currently, not the best photo but you'll get the idea:

I hope this helps.

He's referring to the engine VIN stamp, not the VIN tag. :)

Yes, Kurt is correct, I was refering to the engine stamp vin. I did not check the trans vin stamp to see if it was the same.
Anyone with a original 67 care to comment on their vin stamp character size? and if there is a 1 in front of the 7N?

Thanks Mike for posting the pictures.
It sure looks like the vin characters are indeed 5/32" for 67, I know in 68 they are 1/8". I see that Norwood did not put the 1 in front of the 7N, they must have started that in 68 also. I appreciate the replys.
