I'm thinking about getting a 78 Z-28 that has a 383 crate engine with some mods but no heat or a/c. What do I need to get both working again and if possible a ballpark cost estimate? (and a good place to get the parts b/c I live in nebraska....)

Why no heat or A/C? Is the heater core there, or just bypassed? Is the A/C stuff there, or removed? Need a little more description of the problem.

I'm going to see the car in the next day or so hopefully but over the phone the owner told me the guy before him removed it to save some weight, so as far as I know there's nothing in there currently
