I could have sworn, I saw a post somewhere on this site that talked about what kind of paint to use on a 67 Console. But I can't find it. I think it mentioned either paint or dye, by the name of "REM"? Is that the brand name? Whatever the name, where can I get some of it? Also, can the same paint or dye be used on the seat back? I am changing the interior color and would like to use the seat backs I have if I can. They are red and I want to switch to black interior.

You can buy the stuff from classic industries as well as other camaro restoration companies. Be sure to get the flexible primer for the plastic parts. If I recall the price ranges from 9.00 to 17.00 per spray can.

Go to any paint & autobody supply store and get the interior paint/dye called SEM. They can mix it to match any color. Also get the palstic cleaner/prep fro SEM.

PS It is not cheap and is very thin.
